Living on the East coast makes Coachella seem like it's a world away–but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the sun, music, crowds, and relaxed fashion vicariously through others. With its official end this past weekend, I found myself tallying its various sartorial hits and misses. So many celebrities seem to try too hard–I'm looking at you Emma Roberts and Katy Perry–and some barely try at all (you really should have done better Lauren Conrad and Lea Michele). Then some people get it just right. Technically this Rosie Huntington-Whiteley outfit had one too many trendy elements, but they suited the event and her style so perfectly it worked. Daisy-embellished shorts? A sheer, unbuttoned blouse with a nude bra? Lots of mismatched gold jewelry? Taupe ankle boots? A denim bag? Yes to all of the above.

What do you think? Did you have a favorite look from Coachella 2012?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley donned a gorgeous outfit in a perfectly pale palette when she stepped out to do some quick grocery shopping in Los Angeles. I still can't figure out what I like most about her ensemble– the flared jeans, the thin gold jewelry, the pink jacket, and the chiffon scarf are all spot on. In the end I've settled on the beige Mulberry purse she wore hanging low on its shoulder strap. Handbags that stand out without being particularly loud often catch my eye, especially since I can't help but imagine how great they'd look with just about everything in my wardrobe.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Rosie's style? And help me decide– what's your favorite piece from her look?
