For a person like me who's currently feeling very autumnal, this bag by Gucci is a dream. When I look at its sandy brown color, soft nubuck leather, and slouchy silhouette, all I can see are falling leaves, chunky sweaters, and knee-high boots. Gucci's 'sirrup' bag is a classic: the model, with its double handles drawn up from four corners and covered by a thick dropped strap, debuted in 1975 and has been recently brought up-to-date with a few reinventions. The equestrian touches that remain–I can count five spurs on the detailing here–are just as trademark as the luxurious exterior and logo-lined interior. An cold-weather Italian classic? Yes please.
