I've been seeing a lot of celebs wearing Peter Pilotto–Brooklyn Decker is a fan (see here and here) as is Jennifer Lopez, Marisa Tomei, Jessica Alba, Elizabeth Banks, Miranda Kerr, and a very Hawaiin Kelly Ripa–and to be honest I'm not surprised. While the brand's signature patterns are very Alexander McQueen, there is also something consistently unique about its juxtaposition of optical prints with pleasantly clashing colors. Pilotto's fabulous S/S 2012 collection was apparently inspired by the Indonesian island of Java's jungles and I can definitely see Pacific sunsets and palm fronds in the designs. This sheath is one of my favorites: form-fitting with a fabulous cut-away neckline, what I love most is its combination of neon yellow and electric blue.
What do you think? Is Peter Pilotto 'one-to-watch' or do you find the team's work too heavily inspired by the late McQueen?

Maybe I'm just day-dreaming about summer, but when Dianna Agron strode down the street in West Hollywood this week, I couldn't help but fall in love with her outfit. There were some other great looks recently–Miranda Kerr wowed in a Dolce and Gabanna leopard dress and Eva Mendes looked chic strolling in Paris in a Max Marra Coat and Dior bag–but it's cold enough in New York now that Dianna's white button down and pale pleated skirt made me smile the most.

Miranda Kerr has those long model-length legs that help make almost any outfit better. But this is one of those looks that would work even if you're not 5'9+. I love the cuffed jeans and the suede ankle boots Miranda wore when walking to work on October 28. Coupled with a blazer and billowy scarf, it's a perfect look for fall. And I can't blame her for carrying that tote with her everywhere– I know if I owned it, I'd be doing the same thing.
