I should start this by saying I dislike the way Jennifer Gardner dresses almost all of the time. I'm referencing her penchant for boxy cardigans, ill-fitting pants, dated jackets (here, here, and here) unflattering shoes, and luxe accessories that always seem like an afterthought (here, here, and here). She often talks about using Rachel Zoe as her stylist–especially for red carpet events–so I'm thinking she's the one behind this metallic gold ensemble. The SAG Awards this past weekend were a sea of somewhat boring black and white, so Jennifer looked extra sparkly in her guipure lace and sequin embroidered strapless gown from Oscar de la Renta. What I liked most was her accessorizing: everything from her handbag to shoes to chunky David Webb jewelry matched in metal tones.
