2012 had a nice ring to it as numbers go–in a way I'm sad to see it end. As an actual year it had some serious ups-and-downs, though one constant for me has of course been this space. With every day The Beautiful Things–and the list of amazing people I get to meet–grows and grows in ways that are nothing but beautiful. Thank you for being a part of an amazing past twelve months.

Despite the twinge of nostalgia that comes every New Year's Eve, there is also the promise of more opportunities in the brand new year. Farewell 2012– 2013, I hope you're a good one.
