What gets me through the end of sandal-weather is the thought of boot-weather. Sure, at first glance the colors and details are less fun when summer shoes switch to autumn ones, but the possibilities are really just as varied and interesting. I never really appreciated ankle boots–I always loved the knee-high length somewhat exclusively–but the style has really grown on me a lot. Fiorentini & Baker boots almost always leave me swooning and this "Nubis" pair is no exception. With hand-tinted black suede, a perfectly placed buckle, and an real-wood stacked heel, they're luxe enough to dress up but still a bit rugged for more causal looks.

Love these! I am doing a post on ankle boots tomorrow. Check it out when you get a chance.
