No white after Labor Day? These photos were taken the weekend prior to the holiday that unofficially ends summer but the question still lingers. Apparently the rule was an early 20th-century high-society thing–wardrobes changed as the rich left warmer-climate resorts to return to chilly city-life–that has stuck for decades as one of fashion's most famous mandates. Of course it wasn't always that important to everyone: Coco Chanel wore white suits all year round (and I for one am not going to argue with her).
What do you think? Do you continue to include white into your wardrobe after Labor Day?

I love this look! I think it's actually cooler to wear white after labor day than to not. A white blazer is just such a sofisticated classic! Gorgeous! I love all you delicate rings
