Even back when I was single, I always loved everything that had to do with Valentine's Day: the colors (red), the tastes (chocolate), and the textures (lace). It was easy for me to find some appropriate inspiration scattered throughout my house this year. Even though the ways we celebrate our valentines can be a bit cheesy and commercialized–and only stretch back as far as the nineteenth century–I for one like to enjoy a holiday that supports love and beautiful things.
